But First Let Me Take A Snap151

HIIII BABES!

I am bringing you ALLLLLL the colour and brightness with this post to help you get though this Tuesday or as I like to call it, pre hump day. I also just REALLY want to share my experience at a new interactive pop up in Dallas, Snap 151. These new “Selfie Pop Ups” are all the rage right now so being the Basic Blogger B*tch that I am I had to hop on this trend!

Snap 151 is located in Mockingbird Station and will be popped up there until May 19th. Tickets are $20 which is honestly less than I thought it would be and children 3 and under get in for $10. You get a 50 minutes to explore the space and get pictures at the 10 interactive exhibits, It was more than enough time in my case. I had time to make tons of fun videos, boomerangs, etc, plus shoot with my photographer!

Here are shots taken from each interactive exhibit EXCEPT the flowers and gold wall.

So a few tips for anyone looking to check this out. I would definitely bring some outfit changes because you can basically do a new outfit at every exhibit and also if you aren’t super skilled with photography or have someone coming with you who is, bring a photographer because the lighting is a little hard to work with at some of the spots and I would have been LOST without Kendra(photog).

If you have been wanting to check one of these interactive pop ups out I hope this helps shed some light on them for you. My experience with Snap was super fun and I left with some great content for my socials so no complaints here. The only critique I would have is that there is quite a bit of just empty wall space that I think could definitely be used for more photo-ops.

If you do go to Snap 151 definitely hit me up in the comments or my socials and let me know your thoughts!

I hope you guys have a fab week and I will talk to you soon.

Fight Like A Girl

Hey Babes!

I hope you all are having a FAB week so far! I have literally been working on this post for days and I am so ready to finally be sharing it with you guys! Lets just get straight into it because I CANNOT wait any longer.

When Source Vital asked me to work with them on their Natural Deodorant Challenge for October aka Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I was more than happy to accept. I have a huge history of breast cancer in my family including my mom, grandma, and great grandma. A few years ago I found out that I actually have the BRCA2 gene, which means I am at an increased risk for breast cancer. Taking all that into account breast cancer awareness obviously holds a incredibly special place in my heart and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help spread some awareness of my own.

The Natural Deodorant Challenge was started by Source Vital to help women make the switch from regular deodorants to their all natural varieties. Regular deodorant is full of harmful aluminum which can increase the risk of developing cancer and it also clogs your pores inhibiting the release of toxins. If that wasn’t reason enough to make the switch Source Vital is donating $5 from every deodorant sold this month to The Rose. The Rose is a non profit organization in Houston, TX, that provides breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, and treatment for all women regardless of their ability to pay. SO by switching you aren’t only helping yourself but you’re also helping this AMAZING organization keep up their wonderful work.

Once you have decided to make the switch you can head to Source Vital’s Instagram and enter for a chance to win some great prizes. Just click the Natural Deodorant Challenge post in their feed, tag three friends who you think should make the switch, and follow Source Vital. You could win a $1,000 donation to The Rose in your name, $100 gift card to Source Vital, and a 1 year supply of their all natural deodorant!

I am so happy to be doing my part in spreading awareness this October. Changing your deodorant is just one of the simple and easy ways you can lower your chances of developing breast cancer. Along with that make sure you do regular self checks at home, if you never have you can easily google the proper way to check yourself. This is one of the best ways to stay on top of your breast health. No one knows your body the way you do and taking the necessary precautions and catching signs early is SO important!

My Stay at Hotel Sorella

Hola Babes!

I am so excited to share 1 of the two hotels I got to stay in while I was in Houston. So consider this part one of my hotel posts!

The first hotel stop on my Houston trip was Hotel Sorella. This gorge boutique hotel is located right in the middle of the CityCentre which is PERF because all the best shopping and food is literally surrounding the hotel. The location is a definite winner.

When you walk in, you walk right through the gorgeous lobby. It has so many places you can just lounge and work on your computer or scroll on your Instagram ;)

Now lets talk about the room because y'all, it was perfection! Literally one of the best rooms with the best view ever!

I love how spacious and open the layout was. It has such a modern sleek vibe, which I was definitely loving. The bathroom was SO WELL LIT! It made doing your makeup a freaking breeze. And obviously the VIEW THOUGH!

After I unpacked, I just hung out for a bit to unwind and relax. I ordered some room service because hey, a girls gotta eat! Then it was time to hit the pool!

Sorella has one of the most gorgeous pools you guys! I could have spent my whole stay lounging and swimming. Look how pretty that water is, it calls to you!

From the pool I went back up to my room and got some dinner delivered to me because I'm definitely too lazy to go out and get my own, like who does that? Shoutout to Pizza Hut for always coming through :)

The next morning I woke up after having one of the best sleeps in my Sorella bed. It was so hard to get out of bed, seriously you guys I wanted to stay in all day!

I finally got up and showered. Of course I had to take a second and take in the view, I obviously am obsessed with it :P I put my makeup on and then went to check breakfast because I am literally always thinking of food!

Can we just take a minute to admire the stunning breakfast that Sorella has though?? Like look at this yumminess y'all *insert heart eye emojis*. So. Many. Options! I went with fruits, a chocolate croissant, and one of their sweet potato scones. Of course coffee because like who doesn't drink coffee at breakfast??

I honestly don't have anything but positive things to say about Hotel Sorella. The hotel and everyone there who helped me was amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay on your next visit to H-Town definitely check out Hotel Sorella, you won't be sorry ;)
