Perfect Winter Vest

Hi There Guys!

I am so hyped to share this gorgeous vest with you guys! Texas has finally gotten cold enough for me to dress for Winter and I am loving every minute of it.

This vest is literally my current obsession. It's light but the wool still keeps you warm. I paired it with this matching plaid button down for some extra warmth. I love that it isn't too heavy because even when it gets colder in Texas, its never THAT cold. This combo keeps you perfectly warm and fashionable af.

For bottoms I chose my trusty distressed denim, I can't get enough of this pair! I love that the distressed patches are black. For shoes I went with my favourite OTK heeled boots. Since ya girl is only 5'2 almost all my shoes have some kind of heel because I stay trying to look taller ;)

Can a modelling agency just sign me already? I have my walk ready ;)

Happy First Day of Fall

Hey Babes!

In case you didn't know, today is the official first day of Fall! Being the hardcore lover of all things fall I am BEYOND EXCITED. So excited in fact, that I am bringing you my first super fall-y(is that a word..) outfit of the season. Keep in mind it is 100% too hot in Texas right now to actually wear this outfit but I still wanted to share it with you nonetheless. Blogger life is all about melting to get awesome material to share with your readers :P

I am basically a grandma stuck in a 21 year old's body so this granny sweater(as my mom likes to call it) is my go to fall sweater. Its loose, warm, hella soft, and most importantly super comfy!

I paired my granny sweater with my favourite distressed jeans currently, they also matched so insanely well! I love that the ends are frayed along with the rest of the distress that is happening.

For shoes I was really torn between thigh high boots or these flats, obviously I went with the flats here but to be honest I will definitely be using my boots just as much. I chose the flats though because they seemed like the less basic choice and they're also super cute with the curve on the sides of them.

Since this is just a casual fall coffee shop look I decided not to do any accessories and just keep it sleek and simple.

How to Dress for Fall in the Texas Heat

Happy Hump Day Babes!

I don't know about you guys but this week is taking FOREVER for me! I just want the weekend to get here ASAP! But until then I thought I would share one of my favourite outfits with you guys. I have been working on how to bring fall fashion into the Texas heat without melting so take a look at what I came up with!

This outfit is perfect for giving you those fall vibes because of all the warm, autumn tones but also cool enough to keep you from melting in this killer Texas heat :P

I decided to go with this cute quarter sleeve top because it is long enough to give you the feeling of fall but won't make you sweat to death, plus the cold shoulder design will help keep you cool. The colours are perfect for fall as well.

I paired it with these super cute green shorts. I love that they have colour but notice how it isn't bright but muted which is perfect for the fall and that little strip detailing on the sides was just too adorable!

I am seriously obsessing over these wedge/bootie hybrids! They literally scream fall with their nice beige colouring and suede material.

For accessories I went simple with just this silver necklace and brown shades.
