HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!
I am SO SO SO excited to be finally sharing my post on The Sound TX’s Grand Opening, if you follow me on Instagram then you already got some BTS footage of what went down at the grand opening but get ready for ALL the deets!
The Sound at Cypress Water or The Sound TX is located right on the edge of North Dallas, it is basically a new neighbourhood that over looks North Lake. They have everything from amazing food, gorgeous apartments, outdoor games, a boho market where local vendors set up shop, and live music. I can see this becoming THE spot for the summer for sure.
Lets talk grand opening now. So when I arrived I decided to head straight for the Boho market because you know ya girl loves to shop!
Everything was so adorable and I LOVE that it is all local vendors because I am all about supporting my local DFW businesses. This market alone is worth a trip to The Sound honestly!
Right next to the Boho Market are some fun outdoor games like Jenga and Cornhole. I think it is perf for all the kids and guys that get dragged to the Boho Market to kill time while us ladies shop ;)
After finishing at the Boho Market I stopped to get some photos at Retrograph aka the CUTEST photo booth EVER. I am such a sucker( insert Jo Bros song here) for photo booths y’all!
I went straight from the Photo Booth to my meet and greet with Pat Green who was the headliner for the grand opening. How cute are we you guys?! I am the only one not looking at the right camera but it’s still cute right??
The meet and greeting definitely worked up my appetite so I headed over to Ascension for some refuelling. Ascension is just ONE of the SIX fabulous places to dine at The Sound. They also have Eno’s Pizza, Rodeo Goat, Flying Fish, Flying Saucer, and Landon Winery. The foodie options are a 10/10 for sure.
After refuelling I made a quick stop at the ADORBS bathroom/outhouse, not to actually use them but for the photo op because they’re literally TOO cute. The judgement from people ACTUALLY using them was real though y'all! #doitforthegram
Then I went to check out the opening act Bri Bagwell who killed it! Oh and on my way over to the pavilion I ran into 99.5 The Wolf who were so sweet to let me take pics in their booth :P
Finally it was time for Pat Green to take the stage and he was awesome. His stage presence was amazing and the crowd was ecstatic! Even my Mom was lowkey fan girling.
All in all this was definitely one of the BEST grand openings I have ever been a part of and I am so glad I got the opportunity to experience everything The Sound had to offer. I HIGHLY recommend all my DFW readers check this spot out because it does not disappoint.
If you want to see more of the opening day I have a Vlog up on my channel that you can watch HERE. You can get a firsthand look at all my shenanigans ;)
As always if you have any comments or question feel free to leave them below or hit me up on any of my socials, I love talking to you guys so don’t be shy!
I hope you all have a great week and I will talk to you all soon,
